St. Joseph High School Wins Midwest Fed Challenge!

On May 17, a team of six students from Saint Joseph’s High School in South Bend, IN, took on teams from other states to win the Midwest High School Fed Challenge. The winners included:

• Austin O’Brien
Other state finalists were Mundelein High School (IL), Troy Athens High School (MI) and Nicolet High School (WI). All of the teams put on impressive presentations and the final call was extremely difficult and in our book, you are all winners!
International Academy Takes the Gold at the Euro Challenge!
A team from the Bloomfield Hill, MI, in the Seventh District took on schools from New Jersey and brought home the gold. The competed against Montclair High School and Rumson-Fair High School at the nationals held in New York City. Sophomores Ronnie Basin, Hussein Hakim, Swathi Shanmugasundaram, Danielle Paglia and Ana Karina Chaves won with a presentation on high unemployment in Spain.
