The Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago invites the submission of research and policy oriented papers for the 48th annual Conference on Bank Structure and Competition to be held May 9-11, 2012, at the J.W. Marriott Hotel in Chicago. Since its inception, the goal of the conference has been to foster a dialogue on important public policy issues affecting the financial services industry. As in past years, the program will highlight a conference theme (to be announced), but will also feature sessions on an array of topical financial issues.

This year's conference will showcase research from the nationwide network of RDCs – including research using demographic, business and linked employee-employer data from the U.S. Census Bureau.
